What does it take to convert a conventional vessel into the world’s longest-range hybrid-electric ship? In this presentation Eileen Tausch from Fleetzero a developer and manufacturer of modular marine batteries for hybrid and electric ships will share insights from their collaboration with AET Tankers to retrofit a lightering support vessel to plug-in hybrid electric with 10MWh of battery capacity.
