Electrification and Hybridization
Day 2 Room 1 Electrification & Hybridization
Digital twins for battery asset management are virtual, high-fidelity replicas of physical battery systems—ranging from individual cells to grid-scale energy storage systems (BESS)—that mirror their behavior, health, and state in real-time. By integrating sensor data, physical modeling (such as electrochemistry), and artificial intelligence, they enable predictive analytics that shift asset management from reactive to proactive, extending lifespan, reducing costs, and improving safety. This presentation will provide attendees with an understanding of some of the tools available to them in managing their BESS.
