Boeli is a Slovenian family-owned engineering and manufacturing company. The Berglez family founded the business in 1982 and has since been active in the field of electromagnetic clutches and brakes. With more than 30 years of experience, the company combines deep technical knowledge, in-house development, and manufacturing expertise to deliver optimised solutions.
Boeli specialises in advanced magnetic technologies, electric motors, and generators, with a strong focus on permanent magnet synchronous motors and generators for industrial, marine, and specialized propulsion applications. The company also develops direct-drive electric propulsion systems, particularly for hybrid and electric vessels, where high efficiency and strong torque at lower rotational speeds are essential.
A major part of Boeli’s program is dedicated to electromagnetic systems and power transmission components, including single disc clutches and brakes, electromagnetic tooth clutches, multi-disc clutches and brakes, high-torque spring-applied brakes, elastic and flexible couplings, square-profile-wire coils, and custom magnetic solutions for demanding industrial applications.
