IEMA
The electric maritime industry is growing steadily. The technology exists, pilot projects are expanding, and more companies, ports, and governments are exploring the transition. But progress does not move at the same speed everywhere. Regulation, grid capacity, safety frameworks, infrastructure, and operational realities still vary widely across regions and markets.

IEMA was created to help connect those conversations.

We bring together companies working across electric propulsion, energy storage, new fuels, charging systems, and port integration to exchange knowledge, identify common challenges, and strengthen industry coordination. As many technologies and operating models are still evolving, companies often face different needs depending on their market, scale, and stage of development.

Through industry engagement, events, policy dialogue, and international collaboration, IEMA helps ensure the electric maritime sector remains connected, informed, and represented as the industry continues to develop.
