Maritime Battery Forum
The Maritime Battery Forum is a global industry network dedicated to accelerating the adoption of safe battery solutions in the maritime sector. Established to support the transition toward low- and zero-emission shipping, the MBF brings together shipowners, battery manufacturers, energy companies, technology providers, research institutions, and regulatory bodies. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, the organization promotes innovation in maritime electrification, hybrid propulsion systems, and onboard energy storage technologies.

The Maritime Battery Forum serves as a platform for industry dialogue, technical exchange, and the development of best practices related to maritime batteries and energy systems. It also works closely with policymakers and classification societies to strengthen safety standards and regulatory frameworks. By fostering partnerships across the maritime value chain, the MBF plays an important role in supporting decarbonization efforts and advancing the global shift toward cleaner and more energy-efficient shipping operations.
