Chamod is a researcher in the mechanical engineering faculty of Delft University of Technology. His research focuses on the development of autonomous container handling machines for inter-terminal barges, and the development of adaptive boom structures for large-scale payload handling. His work is connected to the Port of Rotterdam and the European MAGPIE project, exploring how autonomous container handling systems for inter-terminal barge transportation can be developed to support more efficient and sustainable port operations.
