Dr. Jovana Jovanova is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Delft University of Technology. She leads the Adaptive Metastructures, Mechanisms and Machines (JAM) research group, focusing on large scale adaptive structures, smart materials integration, compliant mechanisms, metamaterials, and soft robotics. Her work combines analytical, numerical, and data driven design methods to develop mechanically intelligent machines for maritime, offshore, and transport applications. She is actively involved in international research collaborations and professional engineering societies.
