Kenrick graduated from University of Applied Science with a degree in Automotive Management. His role at Damen Shipyards after over a decade as an Engineer Standards at Engineering Support, responsible for checking correct follow up of regulations on projects. He was responsible for creating so called Green Passports also known as Inventory of Hazardous Materials for Ships, creating IHM reports for vessels from 500GT and Non-Asbestos declaration reports for all vessels.
He changed roles in 2025 to Regulatory Specialist for Group Technology at RD&I, where he is responsible for monitoring, interpretation of rules, regulations, statutory documentation and national/ international standards, translating these to concrete specification of products/ systems and/ or services, for mandatory compliance and supporting project/ product development and quality control of the IHM reports. He is Member of Damen's Global Rules & Regulations Committee. He is a specialist on Hazardous Substances and Substances of Concern used in products and vessels and the Damen Delegate to SEA Europe and CESA representing the European Ship Building industry and their interest on European and international level in regard to regulatory issues and the Technical Advisor to CESA (IMO meetings).
