Dr Benatmane has over 35 years of experience in electrical systems for industrial and marine applications, and has held many roles with GE Vernova, leading many major projects from research and development to execution of both naval and commercial ship systems. Dr Benatmane holds a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Nottingham. He is a chartered engineer, a fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology.
