Matthieu graduated as a mechanical engineer in 2000. He then worked on hybrid powertrain optimization at Valeo. In 2004 he joined the advanced engineering division of Bosch Rexroth in Lyon to market innovative solutions. In 2008, he joined CEA as battery project leader. From 2013, he led the electrification service (batteries and fuel cells) at CEA Liten. In 2018, he co-founded Wattalps with two partners to deliver unmatched performance and safe batteries for demanding industries.
