Olav Roald Hansen has worked with gas dispersion and explosion modelling since 1993 at Gexcon, GL and LR. He started HYEX Safety in June 2020 and has since been working full-time with hydrogen and ammonia consequence and risk consulting, to ensure safety both for maritime vessel projects and land facilities. He has represented NGO ZESTAs in the IMO working group developing safety regulations for ships and has published numerous articles in the field.
