Phil Sharp is co-founder and CTO of Genevos, a provider of highly-scalable fuel cell power systems to decarbonise maritime applications. As part of the project HELENUS, Genevos is pioneering an ultra-high efficiency, fuel-agnostic solution based on SOFC technology, in order to accelerate a net-zero transition for shipping. Phil has led several cutting-edge projects including the development of the world’s first hydrogen ocean racing yacht and full hydrogen pack development for a foiling, zero emissions chase boat for the America’s Cup. He additionally holds World Records in offshore sailing and has multiple championship wins to his name in offshore racing, competing in renowned solo offshore races such as the Route du Rhum and Mini Transat.
