Roland Teixeira is President of the European Onshore Power Supply Association (EOPSA), Europe’s premier association regrouping OPS’s top port electrification experts. As a former GE executive, Roland oversaw installation of OPS for inland shipping in Rotterdam back in 2008. This was a successful partnership between GE, Eneco, Stedin and Port of Rotterdam. From 2011, Roland held various responsibilities including President of AMCHAM Rotterdam, member of the Rotterdam Economic Development Board, board member of employer federation VNO-NCW-Rotterdam and others. Alongside EOPSA, Roland is Director, Offshore, at H2air, delivering a smart grid decarbonisation program in the Port of Cherbourg together with key offshore wind players.
