Tomoaki holds a master’s degree in engineering from Osaka University and joined ClassNK in 2003. He has extensive experience in technical fields such as plan approval and field surveys. He later served as manager of the practical R&D promotion department and the research institute, leading advanced technology studies. He has been deeply involved in numerous MASS projects for nearly a decade, developing strong expertise in autonomous navigation technologies.
