Capt. Varun Rawat is director of nautical academics and advanced simulation at Abu Dhabi Maritime Academy and a globally recognized maritime thought leader. A former seafarer and master mariner, he has led advanced simulation, and human factors and technology-enabled training programs for ports, ship operators and regulators worldwide.
