2026 sees an exciting evolution in the structure of the former Electric & Hybrid Marine Conference and the Autonomous Ship Conference. These two respected events will now be combined and expanded into a future-focused event featuring four dedicated streams, allowing your specific topic to benefit from a more specific audience and dedicated session time.
2026 conference streams:
Electrification & hybridization
From batteries and fuel cells to power distribution, control systems, alternative fuels, and vessel integration strategies. This pillar focuses on technology for vessel electrification.
Automation & autonomy
Covering issues around MASS, this stream will also bring into focus the practical, near‑term automation technologies already delivering operational value, ship automation, remote operation, data‑driven maintenance, cybersecurity, AI, and decision‑support systems.
Infrastructure
Dedicated to the port‑side and shoreside transition, covering shore power, charging systems and protocols, grid capacity, security, demand management, and alternative‑fuel bunkering. This expanding pillar reflects the urgent need for energy and operational infrastructure.
Regulation & finance
Providing clarity on incoming regulation, compliance expectations, and the financial frameworks shaping fleet transition. Expect discussions spanning IMO and regional requirements, liability, investment strategies, and funding mechanisms.
The new format will see an increased number of panel discussions, with fewer presentations. However, those included will have greater opportunity for Q&A. Presentations of products and services will have the opportunity on two dedicated stages within the expo space, as introduced last year.
If you would like to contribute to the program with a high-level presentation, then please use the online proposal form below.
Or, If you would like to suggest a topic for a discussion which you would like to see and/or take part in, then please or contact me directly. I will be very happy to discuss your suggestions.
